Spice Up Your Marketing!

Whether you’re posting on Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok, video content is an effective way to boost brand awareness and highlight what sets your business apart. To help you stand out from the competition, we’ve put together a few easy tips for capturing high-quality local content for your social media —or share it with us so we can test it out on your digital marketing campaigns!

You don’t need a fancy camera! Just pick up your phone and take the video. You can adjust the flash, zoom in or out and then edit it afterwards on your phone or computer.

Before you press record, scan the area you’re filming and make sure it’s presentable. Check for glares from the windows, bad lighting, trashcans, towels, or anything in the background that could be distracting or unappealing.

A video should ideally be between 15-30 seconds and focus on just 1 topic like your team, different movements or techniques, or what makes your business unique. Then add in captions, trending audios and a short caption with hashtags.

Most social media platforms use a 9:16 aspect ratio. This means shooting your video vertically so that it fits perfectly when you’re ready to post.  We recommend using a tripod or even a stack of books to avoid shaky footage.

If your studio requires closed-toe shoes, grippy socks, etc., be sure the people in your content follow those rules so your studio is portrayed accurately.

Take part in a TikTok trend, highlight your business’s personality, share real client testimonials and just be authentic so that your followers will get hooked on your business!
